Image Title Edit component

The Image Title Edit component provides functionality to view & change the details of an image title.

Controls

Title text

The text to use for this title. The text supports HTML elements and styles.

Location

The Location button and its X/Y spinners show the current location of the bounding box of the title. Click the Location button then click anywhere on the image to set the upper left corner of the title's bounding box to that location.

Location - X

The X co-ordinate of the point that is at one corner of the bounding box for this title.

If X is greater than 0, the X co-ordinate determines the number of pixels the title is indented from the left of the image, to the left boundary of the title bounding box.

If X is equal to 0, the bounding box of the title is centered horizontally.

If X is less than 0, the X co-ordinate determines the number of pixels the title is indented from the right of the image, to the right boundary of the title bounding box.

Location - Y

The Y co-ordinate of the point that is at one corner of the bounding box for this title.

If Y is greater than 0, the Y co-ordinate determines the number of pixels the title is indented from the top of the image, to the top of the title bounding box.

If Y is equal to 0, the bounding box of the title is centered vertically.

If Y is less than 0, the Y co-ordinate determines the number of pixels the title is indented from the bottom of the image, to the bottom of the title bounding box.

Connect To

The Connect To button and its X/Y spinners set a point on the image to which to connect this title. Click the Connect To button then click anywhere on the image to set the point to which to draw a connecting line.

The point on the image will be connected to the closest face on the bounding box of the title.

Connect To - X

The X co-ordinate of the point to which to connect this title.

If X is greater than or equal to 0, the X co-ordinate determines X location of the point to which to connect the title.

If X (or Y) is less than 0, the title will not be connected to any point on the image.

Connect To - Y

The Y co-ordinate of the point to which to connect this title.

If Y is greater than or equal to 0, the Y co-ordinate determines Y location of the point to which to connect the title.

If Y (or X) is less than 0, the title will not be connected to any point on the image.

Box Width

The width of the text box used to contain this title, in pixels. Range of values is 50px to 1000px. Specify 45 to mean 'make as wide as needed - to not wrap'.

Font Family

The Font Family combobox for this title. The choices are:

  • Serif
  • Sansserif
  • Monospaced

Font family might be changed using HTML styles.

Font Size

Font size in pixels, for this title. Font size might be changed by HTML elements (e.g. a header1 or <h1> element increases the size of text) or styles.

Text Color

Click the Text button to choose a (default) text color for this title. The title text supports HTML formatting, so colors can be changed using styles.

Background Color

Click the Background button to choose a backgound color for this title.

Background Transparency

The transparency slider sets the transparency used for the background color of this title. Ranges from 0, fully opaque to 100 for fully transparent.

Image Sequence - Titler allows editing of the titles associated with an images in a sequence such as captured by ScreenShooter.
